FRCN Xmas Grand Finale: Seyi Makinde Felicitates with Kids

It was all fun and excitement at this year’s grand finale of FRCN Ibadan Father Christmas show.



















The event was held at Broadcasting House, Radio Nigeria Ibadan, where Engineer Seyi Makinde along with his three children was ushered into the arena with dances by the children led by Hikmath Akintunde and Joshua Adeogun, who won gifts for displaying special abilities.

Chairman of the occasion, a former governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, lauded the Radio Nigeria for organizing the programme, while appreciating the children for turning out to share in the joy of the season.

Engineer Makinde, who could not hide his delight, took time to dance with the children, and as well spared time to listen to presentation from one of his admirers, Adeniran Mubaraq.

Earlier in an address of welcome, Zonal Director, Alhaji Mohammed Bello, represented by Deputy Director Finance, Pastor Zaccheus Oloruntola, said the station put the programme together to give children the thrill of Christmas.

Special highlights of the programme were the presentation of the award ‘Astute Politician of the Year 2018’ to Engineer Seyi Makinde by Pastor Zaccheus Oloruntola on behalf of the Zonal Director, Alhaji Mohammed Bello, and the cutting of cake to mark Engineer Seyi Makinde 50th birthday.



















Deputy Director, News and Current Affairs Department, Pastor Dare Olorunfemi, while commenting on the award, lauded Engineer Seyi Makinde for his resilience with which he had continued to assist the less privileged in the society.

There was equally presentation of gifts to children, who demonstrated exceptional abilities, and these were Joshua Adeogun and Hikmath Akintunde.

The climax of the event was the raffle draw, where tickets A220 and G26 won the star prizes, which were bicycles.
