The first official working day of the year started with prayers at Radio Nigeria positive FM.

The staff took to singing and dancing in appreciation to God for seeing them through the out gone year.

Guest minister, Pastor Beloved Adeoye urged members of staff to give their totality to God, while asking for God’s presence to work with them all through the year.

Also an Islamic Cleric, Imam Abolaji Qasim enjoined the staff to walk in obedience to Allah, stressing the need for workers to love one another.

Two members of staff, Mr Steve Omonagbe and Mrs Busola Oladimeji who spoke on their plans for the New year, said they would put in their best possible.

In his words of admonition, the General Manager, Positive FM, Deacon Femi Oladipo said the Corporation would continue to give staff welfare a priority.

Deacon Oladipo also advised the workers to rededicate themselves and come up with innovative ideas to improve the station and the its revenue base.

The General Manager during his first meeting with the members of Staff, before the end of the year 2017, had appreciated the workers for sustaining the station through hard work and prayers.

He emphasized the need for members of staff to understand the realities of the moment and be agents of revitalization of a new Radio Nigeria, Positive FM.

He also charged the workers to be focused, visionary and imbibe maintenance culture to preserve the station’s equipment and facilities.

Deacon Oladipo who assumed duty as the new General Manager of Positive FM in December last year has served as head of News Positive, Progress FMs, Ado Ekiti and Gold FM Ilesa where he was also General Manager before his transfer to Ibadan.
