In continuation of its promise to provide adequate security to its people, Oyo state government, through its Security Trust Fund has handed over thirty seven refurbished vehicles including tyres and batteries to security outfits in the state.

The handing over ceremony was held at the premises of the State Security Trust Fund Office, Onireke, Ibadan.

In a remark, State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi said the state government remained committed to assisting security agencies to achieve optimal performances.

Governor Ajimobi, represented by the Deputy Governor, Chief Moses Adeyemo, urged beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items.

Chairman, board of trustees, Oyo State Security Trust Fund, Mr. Bayo Adelabu gave an assurance that the board would continue to use the trust fund to empower security operatives towards a safer Oyo State.

It would be recalled that the state government through the State Security Trust Fund had also presented refurbished vehicles to security agencies last year.
