The Osun State House of Assembly has reiterated its commitment to enacting laws that would enhance the welfare of the people.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Dr. Najeem Salaam made the remark while presiding over the plenary of the House.
Dr. Salaam maintained that the Assembly would continue to focus on its primary assignment with a view to delivering its legislative mandate.
The House gave further consideration to the Osun State Assets Management Agency Establishment Bill 2018.
Areas of the Bill meant for the attention of legislators were thoroughly scrutinized as contributions were made towards effecting necessary corrections in Clauses 31 to 40 of the Bill.
The Speaker, Dr. Salaam later directed the Clerk to prepare a clean copy of the Bill for the third reading and passage of the Bill.
Earlier, the Osun Parks and Gardens Management Agency Bill 2017 had passed through the first reading at the floor of the House with a motion moved by Majority Leader, Mr. Timothy Owoeye and seconded by Minority Leader, Akinwale Akinwole.
