The Chairman, Delta State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Isioma Okobah says children who are denied the right to exclusive breastfeeding from day one to six month old risk the chances of malnourishment that could lead to stunted growth and poor brain development.

Dr. Okobah made this known to nursing mothers in an event to mark the 2018 World Breastfeeding Week at the Felix Ibru Secretariat in Asaba, Delta State with the theme: Breastfeeding, Foundation for Life.
