Post UTME: Institutions in Ogun Comply with FG’s Directives

A check by Radio Nigeria’s correspondent across some tertiary institutions in Ogun State have shown that the schools now charge two thousand naira as their post UTME fees

Some of the institutions that have already fixed their post UTME fee at two thousand naira include Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB, Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye OOU and Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, TASUED.

Also the institutions have now resorted to transferring of other sundry charges to the applicants varying from one institution to another to enable the fee stand at two thousand naira only.

It would be recalled that the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, had directed tertiary institutions not to charge prospective students more than two thousand naira for the conduct of the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) examination.
