A lecturer at the Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Mr. Aremu Olufemi has appeared before an Ibadan Magistrate’s Court for alleged Homosexuality and extortion.
The lecturer was accused of massaging the male organ of a student of the institution, Ganiyu Abiodun and also requested for a mobile phone from same Abiodun and Adedeji Ganiyat.
The accused person pleaded not guilty before the court and was granted a bail in the sum of fifty thousand naira with sureties by the presiding judge, Mrs. Jejelola Ogunbona, who further directed evidences on the case be brought before the court.
The case has been adjourned till the eighteenth of September.
Two students of the institution, Ganiyu Lateef and Ganiyat Adedeji had about a month ago reported at Radio Nigeria that Mr. Aremu has had carnal knowledge of some male students of the school.
The students also explained that the lecturer threatened them to produce a sum of one hundred and twenty thousand naira for him to buy a phone.
