Dr Mohammed explained that the exercise would allow the commission to complete its data collection and statistics of all primary schools in the state for proper planning.

In a remark, Executive Secretary, UBEC, Dr. Hamid Bobboyi hinged on the need for government to increase funding for public education to safeguard the future.
Dr Bobboyi commended Oyo State Government for regularly fulfilling its obligations in payment of counterpart funds to the commission.

Responding on behalf of the state government, Deputy Governor, Chief Moses Adeyemo appreciated the commission for assisting the state in infrastructure and capacity building, while stressing the need for adequate statistics to develop basic education.
