Intending athletes and coaches preparing for the closed camping exercise for the forthcoming National Sports Festival have been assured of adequate welfare package.
A member of the Main organising committee for Team Ogun, Prince Tunji Onatolu gave the assurance in an interview with Sports writers in Abeokuta.
Prince Onatolu, who represented and won medals for the state at the 1977 Festival held in Kaduna, explained that the stakeholders had resolved to prepare adequately towards winning the first position for the outgoing governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.
He also called on all corporate bodies to partner with the state government in funding the sports sector.
The 19th National Sports Festival will hold next month in Abuja, six years after the last edition was staged in Lagos.
