Religious leaders have been urged to always play advisory roles to politicians rather than seeking financial gains from the money meant for development of the nation’s democracy.

This formed part of the submissions of two religious leaders, Sheik Abdulquassim Olaosebikan and Evangelist Morakinyo Oyatumo at a workshop, organized by a lawmaker representing Surulere/Ogo Oluwa  Federal Constituency, Oyo State in the House of Representatives, Mr. Olusegun Odebunmi.

Radio Nigeria correspondent who was at Ogbomoso for the event, reports that four cars were also donated to religious bodies in the constituency.
