The Super Falcons of Nigeria have qualified for the semi-final of 2018 Women’s African after walloping Equatorial Guinea by six goals in Ghana.
Goals from Francisca Ordega, Desire Oparanozie, Rita Chikwelu and a hat-trick from Asisat Oshoala were enough for the Super Falcons to finish second in Group B.
In the other Group B clash, Zambia and South Africa settled for a goal apiece.
With this development, South Africa will be taking on Mali at the Cape Coast Stadium while Nigeria, the defending champions, will slug it out with Cameroon at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Both matches will be played next Tuesday.
Radio Nigeria Correspondent reports that Asisat Oshoala who won the Woman of the Match Award, is the first player to score three goals in a match at the ongoing Women’s African Cup of Nations in Ghana.
