General Overseer of Redemption Baptist Church, Jesus Clinic, Apata Ibadan, Pastor Zacheaus Adebayo has assured Nigerians that the nation will remain stronger and more united after general elections.

The cleric stated this while speaking with Radio Nigeria at the Cross-over night.

Pastor Adebayo who refuted speculations that the outcome of the General Elections could disintegrate the nation urged Nigerians to remain calm and exhibit the fear of God in all their endeavours.

Pastor Adebayo also implored political leaders to always formulate people friendly policies and jettison the attitude of amassing wealth at public expense.

He expressed the hope that the New Year would be promising, hence the need for all to embrace right attitude and live a purposeful life.

Meanwhile, at the Gospel Faith Mission International, Agbowo Assembly, the members who were full of appreciation to God ushered in 2019 with intense prayers and songs of praises.

In a sermon entitled “My God will deliver me”, the minister-in-charge of the church, Pastor Akin Aro said God would deliver those who abide in him in the New Year.

Pastor Aro urged Nigerians to abstain from bloodshed, and other  sinful acts.

Speaking on 2019 polls, the cleric emphasised the need for Nigerians to vote for credible leaders to realise the desired development.
