Delta State: INEC Moves PVCs to Wards, as Governorship Candidates Sign Peace Accord

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Delta State has described the number of collected Permanent Voter’s Card in the state as unsatisfactory, noting that out of the almost three million registered voters in Delta State, only about four hundred and sixty thousand have collected their PVCs and are ready to partake in the forthcoming General Elections.

The Administrative Secretary of INEC in the State Mr. Felix Enabor, who stated this at the commission’s state headquarters in Asaba, during a stakeholders meeting and signing of Peace Accord by gubernatorial candidates of the forty nine political parties contesting in the elections in Delta State explained that from the 16th of January, INEC will distribute PVC’s at the ward Registration Centers across the state and the exercise will last for six days.
