The Precious Cornerstone University Ibadan has welcomed the pioneer students of the institution with a special service.

The service held at the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, also known as Christ Life Church had friends, relatives and management of the institution in attendance.

Promoter and Chancellor of Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, while welcoming the pioneer students, noted that Nigeria’s strength is in its ethnic, religious and cultural diversity.

Bishop Wale Oke who said that ninety students from sixteen states of the country have been admitted, reiterated the resolve of the management of the institution to make the citadel of learning, one with national outlook.

He disclosed that admission into the prestigious institution is still ongoing till the end of February.

Delivering a sermon on the occasion, Bishop Mike Bamidele of Victory Life Ministry International, Ilesa, charged the students to have a vision and lay a solid foundation from the beginning of their studies.

In a goodwill message, the Pro Chancellor, Dr Bayo Olagoke and the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Julius Oloke assured the students of not only graduating with intellectual upliftment, but also with high moral standard.

Some of the pioneer students appreciated the lord and the university management for giving them the opportunity to make success of their lives.

The Sword of the Spirit Ministries secured an operating license in December 2017 for a faith based private university, Precious Cornerstone University.

Precious Cornerstone University commenced operation in September with two faculties and twelve departments.
