Blind voters in Ogun state are to be provided with Braille ballot papers to ease their participation in the polls.

The state Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Mr. Abdulganiu Raji who made this known while speaking with Radio Nigeria in Abeokuta, said the step became necessary to allow them participate freely in the elections.

Mr. Raji said that magnifying glasses would be made available for albinos while people with other challenges would be assisted to take part in the elections.

The REC noted that out of the over two million people who registered, only seven hundred and thirty-seven  thousand voters were yet to collect  their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs.

He implored those who are yet to collect their PVCs to use the remaining three days to the Friday, February eight deadline for collection of the cards.
