INEC Returning Officer in Oyo State, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe has declared Engineer Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP winner of the governorship election in the state having polled five hundred and fifteen thousand, six hundred and twenty-one votes to defeat his closest challenger, Mr. Adebayo Adelabu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who polled three hundred and fifty-seven thousand, nine hundred and eighty-two votes.
