NUJ Congratulates Oyo Commissioner for Information

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Oyo State Council has felicitated with Oyo State newly appointed Commissioner for Information Hon. Wasiu Olatunbosun.

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Oyo State Council wishes to congratulate you on your well deserved appointment and subsequent swearing – in as Commissioner for Information in Oyo State.

Apart from your antecedent as a core professional who has taught Mass Communication as a course at tertiary institutions, you have demonstrated Ambassadorial traits that have earned the Media Industry respect and honour.

Little wonder His Excellency, the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde considered you as one of the wise men that would combine knowledge and wisdom to drive the Information Machinery of his government.

We are also sufficiently close to you to know your ability to excel in this assignment bestowed on you by fate and providence.

Radiating convincing confidence that you have what it takes to deliver, we as a Union are delighted that the Governor got it right in your appointment and could not have it better than having you occupying that position at this time of the state developments.

While congratulating you on your appointment on behalf of all journalists in Oyo State, we are confident that with you at the helm of affairs at the Ministry of Information, Oyo State, the story would never remain the same again.

Above all, your friendliness, dedication to duty, know-how, popularity, experience, accessibility to people and passion for a greater Oyo State should be sustained in your onerous task to make a difference in governance.
