The Public Complaints Commission, PCC, resolved five hundred and thirty-three out of seven hundred and seventy-one complaints it received last year in Osun State.
Reviewing the activities of the commission in Osogbo, PCC Commissioner in the state, Professor Razaq Abubakre, said the agency also recovered about three million, six hundred thousand naira from respondents during the period.
Professor Abubakre explained that the resolution of the complaints and the recovery of the affected amount were at no cost to the complainants.
He appreciated Governor Rauf Aregbesola for providing a conducive environment for the commission to operate, and commended the media as well as the people for their support.
Professor Abubakre advised people to continue to lodge their complaints for amicable resolution through visits, letters, e-mails, telephone calls and text messages to the agency.
The Commissioner reminded the public that PCC offices were still in Osogbo, Ilesa, Ile-Ife, Iwo, Gbogan, Ila-Orangun, Ifon-Osun, Ikirun and Ejigbo.
