It was indeed an atmosphere of praises, dance, worship and prayers as Radio Nigeria Ibadan Zonal Station, Christian Fellowship rolled out the drums to appreciate the Almighty God during its mid- year praise programme tagged “Garment of Praise”.
The programme, which held at the broadcasting house Dugbe Ibadan was an opportunity for members of the fellowship to reflect on the mercies and goodness of God over the corporation and its workers since the beginning of the year.
The hall of the Studio One – venue of the programme, was jam-packed with visitors and members of staff who were in high spirit, ready to dance and celebrate life.
Represented by his Assistant, Reverend Paul Jenfa, President, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Reverend Ayokunle Sogbon said despite the economic recession and other challenges confronting Nigeria, Christians should remain united and continue to praise God for his love for mankind.
Expatiating the theme of the program, Garment of Praise, a cleric, Venerable Samuel Ayegbusi noted that praising God from time to time, in every situation attracted God’s blessings.
Earlier, in a remark, the Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria Ibadan Zonal Station, Alhaji Mohammed Bello enjoined the people to promote love, peace and togetherness through religion.
In an address of welcome, President, Radio Nigeria Ibadan Christian Fellowship, Pastor Taiwo Sowande stressed the power in praising God, saying if prayers failed, try praises.
The climax of the event was songs ministration by Lady Evangelist Bola Aare, Okiki Olodumare Praisers and Alfa Sule Drama Group.
