A commendation service has been held in honour of late ace broadcaster and actor, Alagba Adebayo Faleti at Salem Baptist Church, Yemetu Alaadorin, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Ministering at the service, cleric in charge of the church, Reverend David Hambolu described death as an inevitable end for every man, hence the need to live a worthy life at all times.
According to him, Alagba Faleti has gone to rest and in a better place where worldly things would not be priorities.
He charged members of his family not to mourn, but rather rejoice, believing their loved one was resting in the bosom of the Lord.
Reverend Hambolu enjoined people to look unto the Lord and fear Him, reminding them that at death, there would not be a second chance.
Some members of the congregation said, in the history of Nigeria, the late Alagba Faleti would be remembered for hard work, integrity, family virtues, generosity and selflessness in promoting the unity of Yoruba race and the country in general.
The Church had in attendance children, family members, associates of the deceased, actors and actresses and dignitaries including Director, National Orientation Agency, NOA Oyo State, Mrs Dolapo Dosunmu, Head, Public Affairs Of Economic And Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Office, Mr Oyewole Ayo.
