Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has attributed the relative peace in the state to the doggedness of the combined leadership of security agencies.
Governor Akeredolu made this known while addressing Participants of course 26, National Defence College, Abuja who were in the state on a study tour.
The Governor acknowledged the prompt response of the security operatives which led to the arrest of fleeing Boko Haram elements thus preventing a security breach in the state.
He specifically commended them for rising up to cases of kidnapping whereby top security chiefs personally supervised operations to flush out kidnappers and other criminals from their hideouts.
Mr. Akeredolu also used the occasion to highlight his administration programs on youths empowerment and improving the economy for the general well-being of the people of the state.
The leader of the team, Air Commodore Sunday Makinde implored the government to further engage the youths in activities that would make them useful to the society.
