Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier General Suleiman Kazaure has charged Corps members to use their one year Mandatory service to contribute to the growth of their host communities.

Brigadier General Kazaure gave the charge, while addressing the NYSC 2017 Batch B’ stream-one Corps members at the orientation camp in Ise, Orun-Emure, Ekiti.

He stressed the need for the Youth Corps members should ensure that they add value to the places they were posted, by embarking on series of community development projects, which would affect the people positively.

The NYSC Director General told the Corps members to shun sharp practices and key into various skill acquisition programmes to prepare them for the challenges of unemployment after the service year.

Earlier in her welcome address, the Ekiti State Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs Ukagha Nwanao-Eze said a lot had been done to make life easier for the Batch B’ stream-one Corps members currently on the camp and advised them to continue to be of good conduct.
