Ondo State Government has called for calm between Hausa and their host community at Odojoka in Akure, the state capital.
The Deputy Governor, Mr Agboola Ajayi made the appeal when he led some government officials and security operatives to the area where a fight broke out yesterday evening.
Mr Ajayi promised to invite both parties within twenty four hours to settle the rift.
The Deji of Akure, Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo enjoined both parties to sink their differences.
Oba Aladetoyinbo maintained that both parties had for long been living harmoniously and urged them to disallow all forms of violence in their midst,
Crisis had erupted between a local masquerade and some Hausa men during which four houses, four vehicles, some motorcycles , grinding and sewing machines were set ablaze.
