Court of Appeal: Ajimobi Swears in First Female President

The first female President of the Oyo State Customary Court of Appeal, Justice Eni Esan has been sworn-in into office.

The swearing-in ceremony was performed at the Executive Chambers of the Governor’s office, Secretariat Ibadan, overseen by the Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

In his address, Governor Ajimobi urged Justice Esan to consolidate on the good works of the pioneer president of the court, Justice Solomon Akinteye who retired early this year.

Governor Ajimobi expressed optimism on Justice Esan’s wealth of experience, saying it would stand her in good stead to run the affairs of the State Customary Court of Appeal.

In her words of gratitude, Justice Eni Esan promised to restore the lost glory of the court.

Present at the ceremony were the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Abimbola and other members of the Bench and Bar profession.
