State Coordinator of National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Oyo State, Mrs. Eniola Ambekemo says there is hope for the country, with the caliber of students graduating from tertiary institutions.
She stated this at the closing parade of the 2018 Batch C, Stream 1, Corps Members posted to Oyo State, having two thousand one hundred and eighty-two Corps Members, who took part in the exercise.
The NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. Ambekemo said with her experience with the Corps members during the orientation course, there were signals that the youths had embraced entrepreneurial skills to make them self-reliant rather than the usual practice of waiting for White Collar Jobs.
Mrs. Ambekemo explained that during the orientation course, some of the Corps had produced valuable goods with the entrepreneurial skills they have acquired through institutions and the NYSC.
The State Coordinator advised the youths to be of good conducts, and accord respect to the culture of their host communities.
In a message through his Deputy, Chief Moses Adeyemo, Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi assured the Corps Members that the state government would create enabling environment for the youths to thrive in their endeavours.
Governor Ajimobi also encouraged them to integrate themselves well into the society, and make the best out of the mandatory National Service.
