The draws for the Champions League round of 16 stages took place today at the head quarters of UEFA in Nyon, Switzerland.
The draws which saw eight seeded teams pitched against eight runners up.
Liverpool plays host to Bayern Munich, both five-times European champions, will meet in the Champions League round of 16 in one of three England-Germany clashes, while Manchester United will face PSG at Old Trafford in the first leg of the clash which on paper looks grim for United.
English champions Manchester City will be away to Schalke 04 in the first leg of the tie and Tottenham Hotspur will host Borussia Dortmund in the other clashes between the Premier League and the Bundesliga.
Meanwhile holders Real Madrid will be away in the first leg when they take on four-time winners Ajax of Amsterdam, who have reached the knockout stages for the first since 2005-06 season.
In other ties, Serie A champions Juventus face serial Europa League winners Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano, Barcelona will travel to France against Olympique Lyonnais, while AS Roma hosts Porto.
First leg of the round of 16 matches will be played on the 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th of February 2019, while second leg matches will take place on the 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th of March 2019.
