President Muhammadu Buhari has called on traditional rulers in Oyo state to continue to support the anti-corruption crusade of the federal government.
The President made the call at an interactive session with the traditional rulers at the house of chiefs, Parliamentary Building, secretariat, Ibadan.
President Buhari reminded the royal fathers to reflect on where the present administration met the affairs of the country and what has been achieved in the last three and half years.
President Buhari thanked the traditional rulers for their usual support and urged them to continue to support him for his re-election bid.
Earlier, the state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi told the traditional rulers that the President had come to pay homage to them and seek for their royal blessings.
On behalf of the royal fathers, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi said with his several interactions with President Buhari, there was no doubt that the President is a man of integrity.
Oba Adeyemi implored the President to work with Governor Ajimobi in ensuring the Governor emerges the Senate President in the next dispensation.
