Governorship candidate of Action Democratic Party, ADP, Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala has promised not to discriminate against any religion in his administration, if elected in the forthcoming election

He made the promise while holding a meeting with Muslim Community in Oyo State at the residence of Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Akinola Makanjuola, Agodi GRA, Ibadan.

Otunba Alao-Akala said, he had done a lot for the development of Islam, hence, he would continue to do better to enhance religious tolerance among the residents of Oyo State.

The former Governor noted that, he chose a core Muslim as his running mate to serve as a progressive partner to develop the state better than it is.

Otunba Alao-Akala implored people to vote for ADP, saying his experience in governance would help the state.

While Speaking, Aare Musulimi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Akinola Makanjuola described Otunba Alao-Akala as a philanthropist who loved putting smiles on people’s faces.

In a remark, Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheik Abubakri Agbotomokekere prayed for Otunba Alao Akala to succeed in his ambition.

Present at the meeting included, Chief Imams, Islamic Scholars and Imams and Alfas across the State.
