The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Oyo State, Mr Seyi Makinde says his administration will not exercise executive rascality in dealing with different segment of the society if voted into power .
He stated this in Ibadan during a meeting with League of Imams and Alfas of Oyo State held at the residence of Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland,Edo and Delta states, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola.
The PDP governorship hopeful, who cited different court judgement yet to materialize in the state, promised that his administration would review those cases and act accordingly.
Mr Makinde expressed determination to rule the state with fear of God, pledging to strictly adhere to the principle of equity and fairness in dealing with ethnic and religious groups in the state.
Chairman of PDP in Oyo State, Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha while urging the people to vote for the party maintained that the party was poised for transparency, accountability and good governance.
In a remark, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola said the programme was put together on how to improve the future of the state and tasked the stakeholders in the coming polls to eschew violence.
Chief Imam of Ibadan land, Sheikh Abdul Ganiy Agbotomokekere offered prayers for the success of governorship project of Mr Seyi Makinde.
Earlier, PDP campaign train had traversed the nooks and crannies of Egbeda Local Government to sell the party’s candidates to the electorate.
On the campaign team of Mr Seyi Makinde included Senator Ademola Adeleke, former Minister of Power and Steel, Elder Wole Oyelese, Oyo South Senatorial candidate, Dr Kola Balogun and Alhaja Bose Adedibu.
