Former Governor of Oyo State and gubernatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, in Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, has assured traders in the state of better economic prosperity and promotion of welfare of the entire citizenry, if elected.
Otunba Alao-Akala gave this assurance while on campaign tour of various markets within lbadan metropolis.
The campaign train which took off from his Bodija residence moved round the city with messages of hope and better future for traders.
Moving from Sabo, Otunba Alao-Akala and his campaign train visited Alesinloye, Ogunpa, Agbeni and New Gbagi Markets where he further promised the traders of providing an enabling and conducive atmosphere that would enhance trading activities.
The ADP candidate said he would revive the State-owned Pace-Setter Micro-Finance Bank and grant soft loans to boost traders’ businesses.
He stated that he would not embark on any demolition of structures and destroy their means of livelihood, but rather provide succor and put smiles on their faces as he would ensure the spread of the dividends of democracy.
Otunba Alao-Akala then called on the traders to vote en-masse for the ADP to end poverty, deprivation and disregard to court orders.
