Stakeholders promoting Indigenous languages in Delta State have called for a renewed commitment by the government and social cultural Organizations to do more to promote the teaching of native languages in schools to save our cultures from going into extinction.
They made this known in Asaba during the inauguration of Advocacy On The Teaching of Indigenous Languages in Selected pilot Schools in Delta State organized by the State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
