Hoodlums Vandalise FRSC Premises, Set Office Ablaze

Suspected hoodlums this morning vandalized the premises of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, destroying office furniture, electrical gadgets, and computers and set the office on fire.

A resident of Alase, near FRSC office, who witnessed the incidents, told Radio Nigeria Ibadan, Amuludun FM news that an accident had occurred between a micra taxi and FRSC patrol vehicle along Oyo-Ibadan expressway this morning.

Radio Nigeria  correspondent, who visited the scene of the incident, reports that security agents were on ground to maintain law and order.

Also speaking on the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi described the incident as unfortunate, noting that police officers had been deployed to the scene of the accident to ensure law and order.

Mr Fadeyi, who cautioned the public against putting laws into their hands, said investigation would begin immediately to ascertain what lead to the unfortunate incident.
