The executives and members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria,Oyo State chapter has frowned at the decision made by the government of The Republic of Benin during a meeting held with Nigeria boundary commission and fulani-herdsmen to collect 5,000cfa ,equalvalent to #6000 from any Nigeria Fulani-herdsmen who were to cross with their cattle into their country.
The group made their grievances known during an enlarged meeting held at iseyin,Oyo State
While condemning the action of The Republic of Benin, they called on Nigerian government to dialogue with their neighbor to reverse their decision for peaceful co-existence.
Head of Miyyetti Allah Cattle Breeders, Oyo State chapter who is also the Seriki Fulani of Oke-Ogun,Alhaji Yakubu Bello said Nigeria had since been the host of people of Benin Republic and never made life difficult for them.
He appealed to Nigeria to quickly prevailed on their neighbour to shelf the unfavourable decision.
During the meeting representative of the Divisional Police Officer, Iseyin,Mr Moses Adesope, advised the the fulanis to always be law abiding.
