Outgoing Governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi says he is fulfilled with the performances of his administration in the last eight years.
Governor Ajimobi stated this at the valedictory executive council meeting of the state held at the Governor’s office, Ibadan.
Governor Ajimobi maintained that his government had delivered all its electioneering promises in all the sectors of the state.
The Governor, while appreciating God and the people of the state for a successful tenure, told his political appointees to be grateful they were part of the success, rather than regretting that the administration was ending.
Outgoing Deputy Governor, Chief Moses Adeyemo noted that he and other executive members had learnt so many great lessons from Governor in the last eight years.
Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Olalekan Alli said over one thousand projects emanated and were approved from the two hundred and five executive council meetings the outgoing government had.
Our correspondent reports that the Governor later inaugurated some projects including Oke-Adu/Gate/Iwo road, Gate/Old Ife Road/Alakia Road, Idi Ape-Bashorun way, as well as turning of sod of the Ibadan inland container dry port at Erunmu.
